FAQs

Yes. We specialize in expression scouting and assay design for both existing and novel E3 ligases, including those with atypical domain structures or low natural abundance. For those proteins in which bacterial expression is an option, our optimization platform screens up to 48 conditions to identify constructs and formats that maximize yield and bioactivity.

For E3 ligases >100 kDa, an alternate expression system will be used.

Most expression scouting projects are completed in 4-6 weeks, depending on construct complexity and yield optimization scope. We deliver written reports detailing findings from our expression studies.

Yes. Once a high-yield condition is identified via the Trilogie UbIQ™ platform, we can scale production to deliver assay-ready aliquots or milligram quantities for cryo-EM or SPR. We’ll include expression protocols and optional tag removal strategies as needed.

Our assays are built around the full UPS cascade (E1–E2–E3–substrate), enabling accurate measurement of ternary complex formation and substrate ubiquitination. We tailor readouts (e.g., AlphaLISA, HTRF, FP and Fluorescence) to your degrader’s biology, supporting MoA validation, not just phenotypic endpoints.

We ship reagents that have gone through our QC process, (proteins, assay plates, or constructs) on dry ice or cold packs, depending on stability requirements. You’ll receive a tracking number, CoA, and any required documentation for material transfer.

All services are performed at our Worcester, MA facility, ensuring tight QC control, full traceability, and transparent scientific communication. You’ll work directly with Trilogie scientists throughout your project.
