Background: The BRD4 Bromodomain Proteins Set includes recombinant constructs encompassing Bromodomain 1 (BD1; aa 49–170), Bromodomain 2 (BD2; aa 333–463), and the tandem Bromodomains 1 & 2 (BD1+BD2; aa 49–463) of human BRD4 (25 μg of each). These proteins are designed to support biochemical, biophysical, and structural studies of bromodomain-mediated recognition of acetylated lysine residues. The availability of individual and tandem bromodomain formats enables direct assessment of domain-specific binding interactions, inhibitor selectivity, and bromodomain cooperativity.
